Tejsingh “Tej” Rana, PE, RSP is a Licensed Civil Engineer and Senior Project Manager at Highway Studio LLC with more than 20 years of experience in transportation and highway design, project management, and digital delivery across Florida and Georgia. He has successfully led RRR, reconstruction, and major design-build projects, including I-4 Ultimate, and is recognized for his technical leadership in 3D model-based design.
Tej is recognized for his leadership in 3D infrastructure design and digital delivery, having led and delivered numerous projects using advanced 3D modeling and next-generation plan delivery. He serves on the FDOT–ACEC Statewide Production Subcommittee and chairs the Statewide ORD Training Task Team, supporting the transition to 3D-based design workflows and digital delivery. As an ACEC FDOT Connect Instructor, he conducts statewide training in 3D modeling, digital delivery review, and Bentley OpenRoads tools for engineers and agencies.
Tej is deeply committed to mentorship, workforce development, and professional growth. He is the VP for Florida Engineering Society (FES) Region VII and serves on the FES Board of Directors. He is the past President of the FES Miami Chapter, works closely with students and young professionals, and helps create access to scholarships, training, and professional opportunities. He serves on multiple committees and boards supporting student engagement and career preparation, including the Miami-Dade County Public Schools STEM Advisory Board, South Florida Construction Career Days, and the University of Miami Civil and Architectural Engineering Industry Advisory Board (CAE IAB). He also serves on the FDOT District 4 ACEC Safety Subcommittee.
Tej holds a master’s degree from the University of South Florida and is a strong advocate for mental health, wellness, and positive leadership within the engineering profession.
