Reinaldo Villa, MS, PE recently joined EMEC, LLC as Director of Engineering, where he will be expanding his area of expertise to support the firm’s growing portfolio of transportation and infrastructure projects. In this new role, he brings nearly two decades of multidisciplinary experience in geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, building envelope consulting, and code compliance review and inspection.

Prior to joining EMEC, Mr. Villa served as Regional Director at Pacifica Engineering Services, LLC, where he oversaw the successful delivery of engineering services across both public and private sectors. He has a strong foundation in foundation analysis and design, soil and rock mechanics, ground stabilization, and construction monitoring. Notably, he served as the Geotechnical Engineer of Record for several major projects in Florida, including the I-395/SR-836/I-95 reconstruction design-build, where he led the design and testing of the state’s first auger-cast pile foundations for interstate bridges.

An active leader in the professional community, Mr. Villa has held numerous positions with the ASCE Miami-Dade Branch, including Branch President and board director. He is also the founding chair of the ASCE Miami-Dade Geo-Institute. His passion lies in building high-performing teams and delivering innovative, cost-effective engineering solutions that exceed client expectations.
