President

Enit Medina, PE, is the founder and President of EMEC, LLC, an engineering firm delivering transportation projects across Florida and Georgia.

Enit is known for her work on projects of high complexity, including the I-395/SR 836/I-95 Reconstruction, the I-95 Express Lanes, the Sawgrass Expressway widening, and the SR 836 New HEFT Ramp Connections, where she serves as Project Manager and Engineer of Record. She currently leads the cost-savings initiatives on the Golden Glades Interchange, coordinating across disciplines, contractors, and agencies on one of the region’s most complex interchange projects.

Committed to growing as a leader, Enit has completed Harvard Business School CORe program, and she has been recognized as FES Young Engineer of the Year at both the Miami Chapter and State of Florida levels, as well as CAACE Young Engineer of the Year. She also authors On Practice, a newsletter on engineering practice and professional development.

Enit’s service to FES Miami spans several years on the board, having previously served as Treasurer, Vice President, and President-Elect before stepping into the presidency. As Chapter President, she is focused on a member-driven year: expanding the mentorship program, growing high school outreach, strengthening partnerships with fellow engineering societies, and connecting members to state-level resources and legislative advocacy.

Outside of work, Enit finds inspiration in abstract painting and ballet.
